Impact Protection MULTIPACT
The weakest point of a building is often its glazed areas. Around 42% of all forced entries involve breaking glass. So window areas are the logical place to start when considering protective measures. MULTIPACT glazing elements offer clear-as-day security. Since burglars are generally in a hurry, their attempts to force an entry are usually abandoned when they encounter unexpected resistance.

Application

MULTIPACT glazing elements can be used in all situations where protection from forced entry is required for people and property.

Function

The outstanding security standards of MULTIPACT glazing elements are achieved by joining a minimum of two glass panes with one or more interlayers of tough plastic foil. The elements can include heat insulation, sun protection and other functional options. MULTIPACT glazing elements can also incorporate alarm functions.

Test Requirements

MULTIPACT glazing Elements are tested and classified in compliance with the appropriate regulations. These regulations are currently summarized in parts of the DIN 52 290 industrial standard. (DIN EN 356, DIN EN 1063, Directives of the German Association of Property Insurers (VdS))
